My Nan was the best nan, any person could ever wish for. She was amazing. Everybody adored her, and she is very sadly missed.
She was such a funny lady. She could have you in stitches over some of the things she said. She was a bit dippy at times, and VERY sarcastic, but thats what everybody loved about her.
My Nanna was taken from us on 18th January 2003, and sadly I never got to her in time to say goodbye. Something I will regret for the rest of my life. My Nanna had gone into hospital on the 17th January with pains in her tummy. Nobody knew exactly how ill she was.
The next afternoon, she passed. Her kidneys had failed, and then slowly, all her other organs started to shut down, and her heart couldn't cope with it, and stopped. The doctors believed it to be unrealistic to try and revive her one she has stopped breathing. As painful as it is, my family made the right decision to let her go. She would have been in too much pain. It was just her time.
God surely took my Nanna, because heaven was short on angels. We all miss her every single day, and not a day goes by that we dont think about her. She was such a great person, and life still somehow, isn't the same without her...
She was Mother to Rhonda, Mandy And Donna (Or My Girls, as she called them)
Nanna to Rhondie, Craig, Alex, Madison Leigh, Rebecca, Apryle and Faith, although sadly Madison and Faith never got the chance to meet their Nanna.
She is also now Great Grandmother to my son Gabriel, he also never got the chance to meet her. Although I tell him about her all the time, and I know that wherever she is, she has met my son.
She was sister to Pat, Moira, Joan and Frank.
Daughter to Margret and Francis Knox
I know that we will see my Nanna again. Its never been goodbye, always See you again.
Nanny, wherever you are in heaven,I know that you're no longer in pain, like we always wanted for you. You are with people who love you, and I know you still drop in from time to time.
Sleep now Nanny, and let the angels look after you....

I gave him his very first hair cut today. He looks very grown up.
